We are a family owned, local company located in the beautiful North East Kingdom of Vermont. We have one mission: Making the best Kettle Corn from the finest ingredients!

Entrepreneurs Luc and Rhonda Quirion of Newport decided to start a new business working together selling kettle corn.

“We’ll be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary this year,”. “The first four years of our marriage we did everything together, then we had kids. Everything then centered around the kids until they went off to college”.

While Luc focused on the construction business, Rhonda had a loom at home and made wool hats, sold Christmas wreaths, operated an ice cream stand, and then a Subway franchise.

Rhonda eventually started Vermont Fused Glass using diachronic glass to make jewelry, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and other items.

The Quirions went to craft shows throughout New England to sell the jewelry. That’s when Luc decided he wanted to be a vendor himself. It took many hours of research before they settled on kettle corn. “It’s physical work and I like that. We get to meet people from all over the United States. It’s an uplifting environment to live in.”

We don’t cut and use the best quality food. We use mushroom corn from Nebraska. Mushroom popcorn allows the caramel to coat and bond to the kernel and withstand the heat.

You can find us at many events throughout New England popping up fresh batches of delicious Olde Tyme Kettle Corn. If you’ve been to one of our outdoor events, you’ve no doubt been lured over to our booth by the fragrance of freshly-popped kettle corn.
